This summer has been insane. We've spent more time at home than away so the move-in is just now officially completed. When I say move-in I guess I should really be more specific. Things are now the way WE want them. We is being used loosely here, but you get the point. We unpacked everything we could from the house in Hewitt and finally unpacked all the wedding gifts. We have been waiting until now to use anything that was given to us so that it would be special for the "we're finally under one roof" moment. I have cleaned out every closet, every box, every cabinet. There is not a single area of the house that hasn't been touched. We rent a house so there really isn't much we can do, but the furniture and decorations made it look a lot better. I (with the help from Adam for a few hours) cleaned out all the brush and bushes that our landlord said could go. I was getting really tired of having to duck tree limbs and get whacked by mean thorny things. So needless to say, they had to go. Thankfully today, I have nothing else to do besides routine maintenance. I mowed the front, back, and backy-back yards yesterday and edged and de-weeded. It took me about 2 hours. I dusted, vacuumed, and scrubbed down everything last week and it also took about 2 hours. I told Adam these things would be done every Sunday so we are looking at only 4 hours to keep the house looking great every week! Needless to say, I am very proud of the way the house looks and I can't wait to have some guests over once they return from coaching school. Enjoy the pictures~
