Hi! My Name is...

After months of feeling lonely, depressed, lacking joy, I have gifted myself with a wonderful new addition. This little guy was impounded at Bell Area Animal Shelter in Belton. I had searched for a good two months debating between inside dogs and outside dogs, big dogs and little dogs, and after a few misses on some cuties from Craigslist, I found this guy. His previous nomenclature was deemed "Monkey." Two words... heck no! He is currently unnamed, but his new title is coming soon. So far the only lead is Rockie (Skyrockets, Roger Clemens, and Bedrock.) This dog came with some challenges as well as some wonderful attributes. He is housetrained, kennel trained, out of the puppy stage, nuetered, and not that cost was a huge issue... He was only 20 bucks! I picked up an inside kennel from the ghetto in Waco from a Craigslist listing for 40 bucks and he's stocked up on many new goodies from Petco. Unfortunetly, the previous owners did not keep up with his grooming. His hair was sooo matted that the groomers told me they would just have to shave him. Instead of that, I conquered the challenge of hand grooming him with some hair-cutting scissors and after two hours of cutting his hair in the dark on the back porch, he at least looks healthy. He's got a good "professional" grooming session scheduled soon. I can't wait for Adam to get here to see him this evening! He's sure a happy little dude and I'm sooooo glad that I rescued him and brought him to a wonderful life of spoiledness and happiness.
***** My new name is officially.... DOBBY! Yes like the house-elf. It's a perfect fit!
