Introductions~
Adam and I have been together since April 14th 2003. We have both experienced different paths, and our paths have finally reconnected at a new point and journey. We are getting married on January 1st, 2010. This point in our life has been a long time coming, but we are both eager to begin our new lives together. Unfortunately, at this time, we are both still contracted at different schools across this great state. We are looking forward to the end of this school year to be back under the same roof again. Adam is a coach and teacher at a 1A school in Wellington, TX. His adventure in the panhandle has been absolutely amazing in both his successes and personal growth. He has been extremely successful in both his classroom and athletic endeavors and starts this football season as one of the, if not the best team in the state in 1A. I can't wait to see this year through! I am teaching Texas History and Teen Leadership at a 3A Junior High in Waco, Texas. Connally has been a great place for me to grow both professionally as well as emotionally. I work with an amazingly supportive group of teachers and I can't imagine my life without any of them!
To the story of Bedrocks~
Adam's nickname in football in high school from his coaches was Bedrock. He was deemed this because of his resiliency and determination to stand his ground and hold his place on the field. To this day, he has not changed one bit. He is the most amazing rock in my life and his faith and heartiness is what gets us both through any tough days we experience (which are far and few between). After many years and our shares of ups and downs, I feel that I have absorbed a small amount of this toughness from him. I believe I am able to weather any storm, starting with living a long ways apart for another year, because of him. I can't wait to be the future Mr. and Mrs. Bedrock!
